Inside and Outside Traits

We have been talking about character traits. We have learned there are 2 kinds of traits; inside and outside traits. Inside traits are traits we can't see, we discover them by the things characters say and do. Outside traits are traits we can see even if the character never stays a word or does anything.  

Today we started off labeling Mrs. Wanke's outside traits. 

After that, we wrote her inside traits inside a heart. These are traits we have discovered by things Mrs. Wanke has said and done. 

This was fun, but it was more fun when we were able to label our friends outside traits and write their inside traits in a heart too.
