Today we practiced doing math stations for the first time! Math stations is the perfect time for us to practice new skills and to take a small group, hands on approach to math.
When we were at the station with Mrs. Wanke, we practiced showing numbers by building tallies with popsicle sticks. This also helped us practice counting by 5's and counting on.
When we were at math tub 1, we working on identifying our numbers 1-50 in order.
At math tub 2, we worked together to build a 100's chart.
Lastly, at our tech station we worked on math lessons on Zearn. Zearn is a great website that gives us lots of practice on our math topics. If you are interested in doing Zearn at home the log-in information will come home next week.
