Apple Number Bonds

Today we were visited by the Winnebago Boone County Farm Bureau for Ag in the Class.  They talked to us about the life cycle of an apple and how apples grow.  So were were not surprised when apples showed up in math today. 

Mrs. Wanke wanted to review number bonds with us.  We reviewed, PART, PART, WHOLE.  This reminds us that we put two numbers together to get our whole. We then discussed what happens if we know the whole and only one part!  Can we figure out the missing part?  YOU BET WE CAN!  Check out the pictures below of us working very hard to figure out the missing part of our number bonds.
