Hunting and Pie..oh MY!

Hunting

 

 Oh a hunting we will go, a hunting we will go...

Okay I will STOP singing now.

 We had a lot of fun on Friday "hunting" for proper nouns. Before going on our hunt, we read an article about the Wampanoag Indians.  We practiced walking toe to heal just like the Wampanoag did so they could be quiet when hunting animals.  Then, we went in the hallway, walked toe to heal quietly searching for proper nouns.  When we found one, we had to write the noun and circle if it was a person, place, or thing.  We sure did have a lot of fun doing this.

Well if your child came home and told you that Mrs. Wanke got a pie in the face...TWICE, they are not pulling your let.  Thank you Brylee and Hayden for throwing a pie in my face at our assembly.
