Story Camp Out
We have been working long and hard on publishing our books. To celebrate this accomplishment, we went camping today!
Students came to school to find that our classroom had been transformed into a campsite.
We all piled into the tent to listen to each others stories! Each author got to share their book with the class. There was such a great variety of stories!
After, we had fun rotating around to different literacy stations. We partner read by the campfire, made words by the picnic table, used the iPads and wrote stories in the tent.
Of course no camp out is complete without delicious s'mores!
