We are going to start with responding when adult speaks to you. We are interpreting this rule a little differently then how it is listed below. We are asking students to just respond appropriately. Sir and ma'am along with Mr. or Mrs./Miss/Ms. for adults is a nice respect skill to instill in your child as well. We will encourage this here at school. Please reinforce this at home.
When someone says hello, say hello back.
If you are asked, how are you. You answer back appropriately.
Encourage your child to use eye contact. This will be our next focus.
